Black Ops Bravo Blackout Review

Black Ops Bravo Blackout
Black Ops Bravo Blackout Single Torch Lighter
The Black-Ops Bravo Blackout is an attractive single torch lighter. I have not seen any other lighter that looks similar to this one, nice change of pace. The MSRP seems to be a bit all over the place, from $31-$55 in my searches. Rather odd, moving on...
One of the better constructed Black-Ops CLR has handled. The Bravo has a metal body, with some plastic components on the bottom of the lighter lighter. The Bravo is straight forward with minimal "frills". The lighter has a smooth single thumb action. It slides back to fire up the single jet torch. The flame is strong and wind resistant as to be expected.
There is a nice oversized plastic fuel adjustment knob in the standard location. I tested two of these lighters and both were somewhat touchy when it came to the fuel adjustment. Set too high or low and the Bravo struggled to fire up consistently. Once I found the sweet spot the lighter was much consistent.
The Bravo Blackout is lacking a fuel gauge window and a cigar punch. If it had either one of these it would help justify the price a bit. Especially, considering the Bravo is only a single torch lighter. Beyond looks, CLR finds the lighter somewhat underwhelming.

Consideration - a rather basic single torch lighter for the price
