Vector Tri Pump Table Top Lighter Review

Vector Tri-Pump Review
Vector Tri Pump Triple Flame Table Top Review
If you are on the prowl for a cigar torching, roasting machine, look no further than the Vector Tr-Pump Table Top lighter. This is a "big boy" lighter, ready to take on any stick you could possibly throw at it.
The Tri-Pump being reviewed today has the nickel satin chrome finish. Vector KGM also offers it in chrome, gunmetal, matte black/chrome, and matte black. Aesthetically, it is very impressive and it's mere presence demands attention. Functionally, their is a good sized handle for comfortable gripping. Good thing because the lighter is large, with good heft. The Tri-Pump has a solid weight, worthy of being categorized as table top lighter. On one side of the lighter is a Vector name plate. On the opposite side "Pyro Star Table Gas Lighter" is deeply stamped, looks great.
As the name suggest, the Tri-Pump features triple torches. Depressing the round pusher ignites very powerful blue flames. There is one "issue" I do not like about the lighter. Once the pusher is released, the flame does not immediately shutdown. I have seen this with other lighters as well, it slowly dwindles out. This lighters flames linger for a surprisingly long time comparatively.

The little knob wheel, located on the handle is only for aesthetics. It does spin freely, would be cool if it adjusted the torch. Increasing or decreasing the flame is done in the traditional manner on the underside lighter. The bottom has a firm gray "sponge" surrounding it to protect the lighter and your table top. The Tri-Pumps body is two separate pieces, that meet in the middle. The seams are very noticeable. I mention this because I was expecting a one piece body. As expected, the fuel tank is gigantic and can torch a ton of cigars before needing refueling.
The Vector KGM Tri-Pump is not inexpensive. Though, given the market of triple flame table top lighters and the uniqueness, the price is not out of line. Do a little digging and you can get this lighter at a more justifiable price point. Overall, CLR really likes the Tr-Pump. Just look at it, how can you not?!
